Mushy Words from My Heart
It was a hectic month of May and just like any other year my birthday was the same day as my exams...
Its not that I'm complaining or anything but I actually feel grateful ~
Grateful in such a way that I'm surrounded by people who I love and love me back ~
I didn't expect for anyone to remember my birthday (besides my family members) and to save everyone the trouble I made sure that no social media reminder was available.
I know maybe I'm being too hard on myself but I really don't want to increase one's trouble knowing that everyone is extremely busy on their studies and such.
And seeing that my friends had took a little bit of their time to write me a short text wishing me Happy Birthday, drew a card, bought me a piece of cake and gave me a little gift made me warm and fluffy on the inside ~
It's all about the heart and not the size or price of the gift and I am truly grateful for every single one of you people who appeared in my life. I was touched to know some people remembered a day which seems like any other normal day to some people but a day which is special to me. Especially when my high school bestfriend who drove all the way to my house to give me a cake ~ I was already crying tears of joy in my heart and the feeling was indescribable! I missed all my high school friends dearly. I received wishes from my friends who are currently in other parts of the world and this made my first day of exam suck less ~ To everyone who wished me in one way or another, please do know that I'm really grateful and appreciate what you guys have done for me ~
I'm very blessed to have each and everyone of you in my life (even if I don't show it out)
